We drove over to take a look at Snoqualmie Falls again.

Puget Sound Energy has a real nice park overlooking the falls.

Among the numerous flowers and plants was this Japanese Dogwood.

The amount of water coming over the falls was less than when we
were here in early July, 2006.

A closer view of the Falls.
From Snoqualmie, we drove west on I-90 a few miles to Twin Falls State Park. The Park is a day use area and the only attractions is the Falls and fishing the Snoqualmie River. The trail is rated difficult so I left Margie behind and took off.

This area receives a lot of rain and moss covers a lot of the trees.

When one tree dies or falls to the ground, It starts decaying, giving
nutrients to new life forms.

About half way in you get your first glimpse of Twin Falls

This is the lower Falls. Too strenuous for me to continue.
After all, I have to hike back out.
