Glacier National Park
St. Mary Campground
We drove over to Waterton Park, the Canadian side of the Park while waiting for the "Going to the Sun" Road to open in the USA side. The trip started out as a bright sunny morning. By early afternoon, the storm clouds and wind put a stop to our outing.

This is the sign that greets you just after passing through customs on the Canadian border.

Not far into the Park, we come across the first of our 7 bear sighting. This mother bear had 3 cubs with her.

We came across this one on the road to Lake Cameron. To my amazement, bears love to eat dandelions. Ugh....

One of the tall bare rock mountains in the area.

Upper Waterton Lake

The impressive Prince of Wales Hotel sits on a high bluff overlooking Upper and Middle Waterton Lakes.

Waterton Village was holding it's annual Wildflower Festival. They were in bloom every where. Here is
a sample.
