Zion National Park, Lower Emerald Pools.

The Trail head for this hike starts at Zion Lodge, about half way up the Canyon.  It is a easy paved trail.  The destination is a couple of waterfalls and pools.   I have tried to show some of the sites along the trail.

The Trail starts after crossing the Virgin River.

Looking up river from the bridge.

The trail is paved.

No matter where you look in the Canyon, you can see a giant sandstone cliff.

Or maybe an unusual rock formation.

Like this!!!

This is the larger of the two falls.

The smaller of the two pools.

This is looking at the larger fall from underneath the ledge.
