Today, I leave Margie behind and go for a hike up Mosaic Canyon. The road up to the canyon starts just a few hundred yards from the campground.

Just a short distance into the canyon, you see the "Mosaic" effect on the canyon walls. This is all worn smooth by
water, sand and gravel rushing down off the mountains when it rains.

Another example of Mosaic rocks on the canyon wall.

Sometimes, the trail is just a few feet wide.

Sometimes, I just wonder how things were formed. This malformed piece of marble wall is taller than my head
and 50 feet long and as smoth as a counter top.

This is one of the narrow passage ways that the water, sand and gravel has carved as it rushes down the mountain.
