Margie and I have been enjoying the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, NM for the last few days.  We have been getting up at 5 am to see the Balloons lift off.  During the day we are sightseeing.  Then about 5 in the evening, we attend the Balloon Glow and Fireworks which ends about 8:30 pm.  By the time we get home it's almost 10 pm.  It's been enjoyable, but we need some rest!!!

^There were 94 Special Shape Balloons that flew while we were here.

^With Halloween just around the corner, this Witch fit right in.

^Margie likes Pandas, so this is for her.

^This was one of my favorites.

^And who wouldn't like Noah's Ark.

^Creamland was one of the sponsors.  This was one large balloon!!!

^Darth Vader was one of the crowds favorites.  Both young and old.  This was
the first time the balloon has flow in the US.  It's home is in Belgium.

^The Balloon Glow at night was one of the highlights of the Fiesta.

There were 94 special shape balloons that flew during the Fiesta.  I have posted
several more in "My Photos".  I hope you will take a few minutes and look at them.

There were over 700 "regular" balloons that competed in various types of events.
The main prize was a $50,000 Honda Truck.
